ABOUT ME

I’ve been behind a camera since I was a kid, documenting everything from everyday moments to the places I’ve been lucky enough to explore. My work is inspired by travel, nature, and the feeling of being somewhere you want to remember.

My Background

I grew up in Portland, Oregon in a family that loved to travel, which sparked my curiosity about the natural world early on. After a trip to the Galápagos Islands with my mom, I discovered a passion for wildlife and conservation that has shaped my path ever since.

I later moved to Colorado to attend Colorado State University, where I graduated in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. During college, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Kenya, Honduras, and Ecuador, focusing on wildlife behavior, ecology, and conservation.

After graduating, I began an internship in Southwest Florida at a wildlife hospital, where I worked in rehabilitation and collaborated with the communications and marketing team. It was there that I discovered a love for combining animal care with environmental education through photography and videography.

I’m currently working as a veterinary assistant at a clinic in Oregon, continuing to build on my passion for wildlife, storytelling, and conservation.

Why Wildlife Photography?

I’ve grown to love wildlife photography as a tool for conservation. I hope to connect the two by using photography to educate and inspire others. Through images and stories, I want to highlight the individuality of each animal, the importance of conservation, and the impact that compassionate care can have. My goal is to help bridge the gap between people and wildlife by fostering understanding, respect, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

My Style

My approach is rooted in documentary-style storytelling, using natural light and patience to capture authentic moments in the wild. I aim to create images that are both visually compelling and grounded in a deeper understanding of animal behavior and conservation.
